"Where are all my desktop icons/documents" ?
Most likely, this is because you are not signed into One-Drive.
At the bottom right on the task bar, look for the greyed out cloud icon. (One Drive)
Click on Settings, and log into One Drive.
Here, you can log into your Microsoft One Drive account, or ADD a secondary account.
You can also see how much storage space you are utilizing.
